Welcome from Sunny Texas

Welcome to DigiScrappingDivas.  I am so excited to have banded together with several of my favorite scrapping buddies to collaborate on this site.  We have a lot of plans in the works.  I hope you will enjoy the articles, tips, tutorials and all the other information we’ll be sharing here.  We have all been scrapping for some time and we all have blogs but collaborating as a team on this blog is something new for 2013.

My name is Yobeth, aka Scraptious Designs.  I live in central Texas at the northern edge of hill country.  I am originally from the coast in south Texas.  Growing up I loved the beach and went swimming as often as possible.  I love where we live now though.  We’re in a rural area but within an hour or two to four major cities-Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas/Ft Worth.  We have hot summers and mostly mild winters, so I don’t need a lot of wintery, snow kits, lol.

My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary in December.  We work together as well.  We have a wholesale supply company and a trucking company with customers all across the USA.  This keeps us very busy.  We have a cat and four dogs- two miniature Schnauzers, a German shepherd, and a Heinz 57 rescued from the pound.  And, last but not least I have a wonderful son and fabulous granddaughter that I adore.  They live 400 miles away so I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like but my son's girlfriend is pretty good at sending me pictures, bless her heart.  You’ll see a lot of layouts that include all of the above plus other family and friends.

As for this site, we’re busy working behind the scenes on content and scheduling and we have some fun stuff coming up. Remember to bookmark this page you’ll want to come back often. You can see some of my layouts at http://scraptious.wordpress.com/gallery

Happy Scrapping!

Walking ... or not.

A few days ago our daily word challenge on the Digi Scrapping Divas Facebook page was "walking". This is a word that's always on my mind lately as it's something I can't do without a lot of difficulty since my knee surgery. It's slowly getting better but right now the more I walk the more pain I have the next day (or - worse - at night). I'm not one to scrap the miseries of life. Heck, I'd run out of kits ... but I have been scrapping my "knee journey" and taking photos. You can see the album HERE

So here's my "walking" page which was made mostly with A Work In Progress' Love Letters and Chelle's Creations' Letters from Home.

I made a second version to celebrate my funky walking stick using Albane Walks in London by Chouk77 and Thaliris:
